The original resources hosted here are permanently free to access, use, share by link and embed. Always free applies to independent learning, classroom use and embedding.

Use it in your course

Use the hosted activities for teaching or independent learning. Share their links in a syllabus, LMS, library guide or resource directory. Embed the live app in your course or website, keeping a visible creator credit and link to the original.

Download and share the original teaching guides for educational use; adapt assignment guidance for your course. Students may keep and submit their own reports through their institution’s approved system. Ordinary course tuition does not create a site usage fee.

Basic learning does not require an account. Optional account, cloud-saving and instructor features have their own controls. World Regions Lab does not share a Possible States simulation record.

The app stays hosted here.

This permission covers use, sharing links and embedding the live hosted resources. It does not grant a license to modify, redistribute, sell or rehost the app, its application code, cover artwork or branding. Third-party maps, data, research and software retain their own licenses and credits. Student-authored responses are separate. Existing copyright exceptions are unaffected.
